We just love it here, I came over as a Chef which you can generally find work anywhere. We have traveled a bit and decided the Sunshine Coast is nice and near Brisbane without living in the center, the beaches are great and weather HOT |

She gets 4 weeks paid holiday which I believe is the norm, however in Maria's case, this does not increase as the years go by |
| Hi, we've got 2
young children would you say they would have a better quality of life
than if we were to stay in the UK. If you had known then what you know
now would you still have gone. |

We have only got the one Son who was coming up to 16
when we arrived, so maybe it was worse for him than being at a much
younger age, anyway if I could get him away from the beach and answer
this one I would. He loves it over here, once he got past the stage
of meeting new friends we now hardly see him. The way of life is very
different for them, tons of active things to do, the kids all seem happy
and always friendly, the sun is always shining so they are always out
and of course, they have the beach life. Not sure what you mean by "if you had known then what you know now would you still have gone"all I can tell you on that one is that we love it here, things have been tough and still are in a way, but walking on the beach early evening and sitting out on our deck overlooking the mountains makes the whole thing worth it. |
